Biography

Joshua Malter joins BKCG as Trial Counsel and brings over 13 years of experience litigating and defending employers against employment, labor, and business litigation matters. With a remarkable track record, Mr. Malter provides exceptional representation for his clients facing complex legal challenges. He has tried multiple cases and secured defense favorable judgments offsetting significant client exposure. He also represents clients seeking expeditious resolution through alternative dispute resolution programs including mediation and arbitration.

Mr. Malter is admitted to practice in the State of California. With his litigation and trial experience, Mr. Malter made a seamless transition onto BKCG’s employment, labor, and business litigation trial team. He is acutely aware of his clients’ needs and ensures that they receive comprehensive support and responsiveness throughout the litigation process.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Joshua Malter earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona. After his undergraduate studies, he went on to graduate from Chapman Law School where he excelled academically and earned accolades for outstanding performance on the law school's negotiation and client counseling competition teams. 

Outside the office he spends his free time with his family, and enjoys playing hockey, surfing, and golfing.
